Police investigate second Friday murder

A 30-year-old man became the country’s 54th homicide victim last night when he was shot multiple times. According to police, around 10pm Friday night, the victim and some other men were sitting on the side of Brougham Street when a gunman emerged and began firing shots. One man died at the scene and an 18 year old male was shot in the hip and was taken to hospital where he remains in serious condition. Police are investigating.
