THE world's fastest man, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, has purchased real estate on Rum Cay.

PRWeb yesterday reported that Bolt, who just this week ran the fastest 100 metres in the history of the world, posting a record time of 9.58 seconds, rushed to close the deal on his new island getaway.

"Who wouldn't want to live on Rum Cay? It is magnificent. What an incredibly beautiful place," the Olympic gold medalist said.

Bolt has bought an oceanfront property from the Paradise is Mine Company, thereby joining Carl Lewis, the US Olympic icon, as the second world record holder to acquire land on the small island.

"Rum Cay is a great place to relax. Just looking at the pictures is enough to put your mind at ease," Bolt told PRWeb.
