Title: um, NO

No.
This country needs new, innovative, Bible FEARING people in politics. We need change. We need leaders that are not 'corrupt' [allegedly] or power hungry. I know what the current FNM and PLP parties as well as their affiliates can contribute to this country, for they had the past 2 terms to prove themselves. Back then, they were the "new" political reform. Now, they're spent and comfortable in their seats. So no, Brave, I do not know you personally or what you are capable of, but I would not vote for anyone under the old PLP or FNM. Your'e already a PLP politician without the seat.

Title: Maybe or maybe not

I'm not saying that David is a good leader, we can't judge no one from the outside and so what he he is passive like Christie. We Bahamians are always ready to criticize but never ready to be criticized. He never hold a ministry in Christie's 2002-2007 administration so we can't say he never talked out on something but a matter of fact he actually did, it might not be related to what you might be be explainig but he talked on Ryan's Pinder issue on his dual citizenship. So get your facts straightbefore you talk

Title: Brave Davis and his leadership

I think mr davis like any intelligent human has a lot too offer,it is up to his ordiances.Well for me i think he is not up to that task .Leaders must first prove to be followers and learners.I do not believe mr davis has been well groom in that aspect as yet. Some times lawyers do not make good leaders.

Title:

NO I DONT THINK SO BECAUSE MR DAVIS APPEARS TO BE TO LAID BACK AND PASSIVE HE DOES NOT HAVE THAT SPARK NOR DOES HE HAVE THAT AGRESSIVNESS THAT IS REQUIRED OF A LEADER HE IS JUST ANOTHER PERYY CHRISTIE. INFACT I DONT THINK MR DAVIS TAKES LEADERSHIP SERIOUS ,IT SI MY OPINION THAT MR DAVIS ONLY RAN BECAUSE HE WAS FORCE TO DO SO BY PERRY CHRISTIE BUT FROM WHERE I SIT BRAVE IS SERIOUS! .

Title: Colorless political journeyman

What has he ever done or stood for to indicate the true character of a leader. Toeing the line in the PLP is no recommendation for leadership...

Title: PLP & FNM S-U-C-K

We cannot continue putting the same clowns in power and expecting different results. Both PLP & FNM have proven beyond any doubt that they are incapable of managing the affairs of the Bahamas. They are really good at making promises to comfort fools, but thata about it.

Title: A DARK SHADOW

Brave has alot of baggage, he has compromised himself long time ago.... people may forget but his misgivings are well documented and gazzetted for all to see. People this is why we need Party reform, it seem that both party only offer a small pool of people for public office some compromised and others not so compromised. Why should I being informed accept the tripe whats being pushed in front of me... who are the people blindly pushing currupt and compromised individules to the forefront of politics what are their agendas....?

Title:

Quite frankly no, because he is a product of the same mindset that has us in the national trouble we're in. I don't think anyone who has ever run on either FNM or PLP ticket has the capability to effect the change we need in the Bahamas. Both parties have created the sheep, now a real shepard is needed.

Title: Brave who???

Please - he is the same old same old PLP - he's been around since S.L.O.P. Why can't they (both parties) elevate some fresh young blood. Philip DAvis does not stand out on anything - I can't remember him ever speaking out on anything - he is so non-discript.

Title: Wrong Man

No way Davis should run for leadership role he has always been known as the lawyer for drug smugglers that include Ninety Knowles he honestly cant be looked at as a role model politician the PLP needs new blood inside.. oh please inform Paul Moss that he needs to convince the people he can be a good MP before running for leader also

Title:

Is there anyone with the attributes befitting of a politician? The only way to restore order and dignity in the Bahamas is to bring back British rule with a Margaret Thatcher-type leader.

Posted By: Nicky On: 8/26/2009

Title: You joking right

Neither Philip Brave Davis or anyone in the PLP party for that matter have any attributes befitting of a leader. The Bahamas needs to start afresh with a clean slate, new prospects on both sides.
