Letter: A country of lost young men and women

EDITOR, The Tribune.

Being in the Mall five days a week and absorbing the movement of our young people on a daily basis, I can safely say that this country has a serious morality problem.

The young men and women of this society (not all by any means) have no respect for themselves nor the people who surround them.

The young women walk around scantily attired with young babies slug over their shoulders like it's some fashion.

The majority of them are not employed, and the minute they open their mouths all you hear is something senseless and laced with profanity.

The normal dress code for young women nowadays seem to be exposed tattooed midriff and belly button and just about all of your breasts; not to mention the G-string.

The young men, and it seems to me this is what the women are looking for, walk around with a cup in their hand, knowing full well that it is not allowed in the mall with plaited hair, baggy pants below the waist, unlaced tennis and a shirt twice the normal size all looking like hoodlums.

Who do you blame for this? (The parents if they have any) there is no way I would allow my son or daughter to leave my house dressed in such a provocative manner.

But when you look closely, these same sons and daughters are walking around the mall followed hand and foot by their young mothers while the wayward father is nowhere in sight.

So what can we expect!
