BAHAMIAN entertainment impresario "Sasha Dunn" has been busy working on a new concoction and has manage to complete yet another masterpiece in his first mixtape "The EPIC Of The Notorious Dunn".

This particular mixtape is a continuation of The Vendetta Group mixtapes series. The project features some of the best and brightest in 242 Bahamas talent such as; Young Magic, Mad Van, Cro, Syng Syng, Brezzy Da Don, Bijou, Drudge, Smiley, Young Red, A.R. and Ras Bud.

The Vendetta Group is a company built around the vision of seeing Bahamian culture more forward in the 21st century.

The main producer for the project was renowned Bahamian Producer Chad Beats along with Pat Rock also known as Patrick Knowles who is also featured in the mixtape.

Featured Hit

The featured hit singles from the project are; Am Chillin, Shawty Wanna Roll, Feel Good, Super Hero Status and S.O.G.

"This mixtape is set to be an historical one. We only hope that you will be apart of H.I.M. (History In The Making)," the Vendeta Group explained.

Sasha Dunn, Bahamian rapper/producer of The Vendetta Group told Tribune Entertainment that this is actually the fourth installment of a mixtape of The Vendetta Group Company. " Basically all of our mixtapes follow a consistent story line," he said.

"We are trying to get Bahamian artists out there, it is a revolution in which we are changing the mindset of how we look at music. We call it a mixtape but it is really an album because it is 98 per cent all original beats and everything."

Combination

He explained that while the name of the mixtape is " Sasha Dunn" Mixtape it is actually a combination of different artists. " You would hear them and I'll be in the background as the producer." he said.

"On the mixtape I have Young Magic- He is an artist under the Vendetta group under our artist development deal, he shows a whole lot of promise and he has also had a radio banger in the form of "Shawty Wanna Roll" which was a Bahama Hot-one earlier part of this year the song will also be on the mixtape."

Additional features will be, True Story and Dumbo (The Ultimate duo from Andros), AR (The Brain Beat Maker), Cro (One of the Most Phenomenal Bahamian Lyricists), Drudge (The Rocker Turned Rapper), Bressy Da Don ( The Haitian Don), Ras-Bud (One of the Most Talented Reggae Artists) In The Bahamas), Producers: Patrick PatRock Knowles and Chadbourne ChadBeats Rolle and AR.

Sasha Dunn said: " The reason why I worked with such a diverse team of artists was to prove a point that there are many different faces that make up what we call modern day Bahamas and that is what I was trying to represent on this mixtape,The Bahamas."

" The theme is basically inspired by everyday life and the struggles we all have to go through from track intro "Mad as Hell" to the last "Feel Good" is a whole trip which takes you through an emotional roller coaster as life is sometimes," he said.

Release

"Chadbeats and I started working on the album at the beginning of the Summer and completed recording by July 28," he added. "Everything was not so easy in putting together this mixtape/album, he said. " It was a heck load of work some evenings. We would go into the studio around 6pm and not leave out until 7am and we still had to go to work."

The dollar value is up in thousands and rises with the cost of now marketing the album," but he remains thankful that the project was completed without too many hurdles.

The album will be released on September 11 and will be available online at no cost.
