THE Little Pink Party "Summer So Bright "attracted scores of Bahamian women and men at the British Colonial Hilton Hotel on Saturday.
According to organisers, the annual fashion, business networking and shopping event hosted by KhanAali Media Group was a "huge success".
"It went exceptionally well especially with the weekend being election weekend. We experienced a great turnout. This was the biggest turnout we have had since we started having the Little Pink Party five years ago," said Kandice Hanna event founder.
The event featured exhibitors in clothing, accessories, beauty, cosmetics, food, beverage, health wellness, lifestyle and culture and celebrated entrepeneurship.
This year thirteen year old Alexia Darville was the youngest exhibitor at the event. Her hair accessory line sold out.
"Her mother told me that her entire line sold out. It was so great she had this opportunity to display her designs and this is something we want to celebrate," Ms Hanna said.
During the fashion show women were given tips on how to dress properly and fashionably by Image Stylist Kedar Klark.
The day long event catered to women of all ages. It was designed to be a weekend for girlfriends, while supporting a worthy cause, as proceeds are donated to support the fight against breast cancer.
Ms Hanna said she was surprised by the number of men who attended the event.
"We have never experienced such a huge turnout from men like we did this year. Some of them may have been women gazing and there for the different exhibitors. Whatever the reason may have been it was still good to see them come out," she said.
The next the Little Pink Party event will be held sometime in December.
