NAGICO Insurance (Bahamas) has donated two laptops to The Centre for the Deaf to replace non-functioning machines.
Tessa Nottage, principal of The Center for The Deaf, said the laptops will run the Promethean software, a programme that aids group learning for the deaf.
Vibert Williams, NAGICO Bahamas’ managing director, said the company intends to be a community partner, assisting in the areas where the needs are greatest.
