ELEUTHERA police are questioning a 35-year-old Cat Island man in connection with allegations of unnatural sexual intercourse, assault with a deadly weapon, and threats of death.
According to reports, the incident took place last Thursday and the man was arrested shortly before 10am the following day.
Meanwhile, Rock Sound police arrested five residents in connection with allegations of assaulting a police officer and disorderly behaviour.
The group of three men and two women were taken into custody around 1am.
Police say three of the residents are from Green Castle, one is from Waterford and the other is from Wemyss Bight.
Investigations into both matters are ongoing.
