GOVERNMENT leaders, loved ones and former colleagues yesterday celebrated the life and legacy of veteran civil servant Ehurd Cunningham.
Mr Cunningham was honoured by his sons Michael and Marcus, who both testified to their father’s lifelong dedication to his family and public service.
The retired financial secretary died in hospital last Saturday night following heart surgery early last week. He was 68 years old.
Loved ones gathered for a memorial tribute at Christ Church Cathedral yesterday.
Among attendants were Governor General and Lady Arthur Foulkes, Prime Minister Perry Christie, and former prime minister Hubert Ingraham.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that all donations be made in Mr Cunningham’s memory to the Bahamas Association for Social Health (BASH).
