“MOTHERS are very influential to the world and are the major decision makers for most purchases worldwide. My purpose is to connect my readers with brands that will prove beneficial to their every day lives. This is done through a series of reviews, sponsored products, social media engagement including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pintrest, and advertising,” said Keiani Worrell, creator of Anni’s Bubble, a lifestyle blog that journals life as a Bahamian mother.
Keiani chose to take on motherhood and maintain her career while also making a difference in the lives of other women. With her passion for writing and sharing she created a blog, and a social network for mothers. The online community Jazzy Moms is a social network for mothers that allows members to meet on a frequent basis to share ideas, encourage, uplift and inspire each other. “Both work hand in hand in providing a space where moms locally and internationally can communicate and assist each other,” she said.
Keiani said she started working at a very young age and although she has been blessed to have many positions throughout her life for major companies, she always had the desire to do more.
“With this love for marketing, communications and sharing information, I thought that I would start something that would allow me to utilise my love for sharing information without interfering with my life. I am a creative professional with a 9 to 5 job and I am a mother. These roles are very demanding,” said Keiani.
Even with the challenges, Keiani said there are so many tools nowadays that allow for the average person to really channel their inner creative person outside of sitting behind a desk all day.
“I am a vibrant soul, the kind of person that people may refer to as strange, but in this industry, strange is good. Strange sparks creativity and allows for awesome opportunities,” said Keiani. She said her motivation for starting Anni’s Bubble came mainly from her personal desire to have a network of persons around her that she could relate to and share with as a new mother.
“From chatting to working out together, people excel most when supported. Anni’s Bubble in conjunction with Jazzy Moms have allowed us mothers to come together and be that support for each other. What I love most about Anni’s Bubble are the amazing women I have met and connected with through this platform,” said Keiani.
Sharing one of Anni’s Bubble stories, Keiani said: “There is a mom I met via the internet that lives in Atlanta; we speak just about every day and she, along with many others have inspired and encouraged me to not lose sight of the vision for Anni’s Bubble as it has helped them in so many ways.”
