BAHAMIAN pastor Dr Mattie Nottage has officially released her brand new song “I Refuse To Die!”, written for a dramatic comedy bearing the same title.
Dr Nottage released the CD during the presentation of the stage play, “I Refuse To Die: Don’t Bury Me, I’m Not Dead Yet”, which opened last week at the Believers Faith Outreach Ministries’ multi-purpose facility.

Hundreds of people came out to support the play that tells the story of successful young woman who is actively involved in her church and community. To others, the young woman’s life seems picture perfect. As a result, some jealous members of the community set out destroy her.

Things begin to spiral out of control, including the young woman’s health. She later finds herself overcome by adversity to the point where she is left desperately fighting for survival.

Dr Nottage used a humour, a vibrant cast, props and artistic backdrops to tell the story of a young lady who had it all but who was forced to suffer at the hands of others who were jealous of her. The stage play opened with a “Hollywood-like movie which depicted scenes leading into the actual drama,” Dr Nottage said.

The play also sought to tell the story of how many people, even in the church, may go through various difficulties and challenges. However, there is an overcoming power when you exercise your faith in God.

The final culmination of the event was Dr Nottage singing a live version of the new hit single.

In the past, Dr Nottage has produced and directed numerous stage plays, including “Last Chance Transformation Academy”, “You Have A Choice In The Matter”, “Talitha Cumi - Damsel Arise!”, “Christmas In Da’ Ghetto”, “Dealing With Delilah”, “Fragile Heart”, “Chain Breakers” among others.

Dr Nottage is a well-known international preacher, teacher, motivational speaker, life coach, playwright, author and revivalist. She is the president and founder of Mattie Nottage Ministries International, the Mattie Nottage School of Ministry, the Youth In Action Group and the Global Dominion Network Empowering Group of Companies.

Dr Nottage is married to Apostle Edison Nottage. Together they run the Believers Faith Outreach Ministries International in Nassau and Believers Faith Breakthrough Ministries International in South Florida.

She has ministered the gospel in places such as Ireland, Brazil, Africa, the Netherlands, throughout the US and the Caribbean. In addition to writing and producing plays, Dr Nottage is the author of “Breaking The Chains-From Worship to Warfare”.
