Traffic problems

EDITORS, The Tribune.

I would like to draw the attention of concerned authorities towards the traffic problems in our city.

Traffic problems are increasing day by day much to the detriment of the lives of our citizens. Road accidents are increasing daily, along with traffic jams, which makes the situation more critical.

Pedestrians face a lot of trouble in crossing roads. People are getting used to breaking traffic rules and signals for their own benefit, and it becomes dangerous for others as well.

These problems lead to another big problem of noise pollution, especially in the areas where sensitive places like hospitals and parks are located.

Two areas where I frequently drive (Kemp Road and Blue Hill Road north) need more police presence to stop the bike popping and speeding vehicles. It’s my humble request to the concerned authorities to take immediate action in resolving this most egregious problem.
