AN Abaco man has been airlifted to New Providence for medical treatment following a stabbing incident in Treasure Cay on Monday night.
The 25-year-old victim is listed in serious condition at Princess Margaret Hospital, police reported yesterday.
Abaco police have taken a 21-year-old male resident of Coopers Town into custody in connection with the incident. He is expected to be arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court this week.
Inspector Terecita Pinder reported that around 10:30pm on Monday a man from Treasure Cay, Abaco, was attacked by a group of men on the beach and stabbed in his upper body by one of the men who is known to him.
