Telem selects Centina to improve operational efficiency

CENTINA Systems, a leading provider in service assurance analytics and network performance management solutions for communications service providers (CSPs) worldwide, announced yesterday that Telem Group is set to deploy its NetOmnia suite of solutions for the network and improved troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Telem Group’s selection of Centina’s NetOmnia Fault and Performance Management and Service Vision solutions are to support the company’s entire infrastructure for cellular, DSL, VoIP and traditional phone services.

Caribbean telecommunications provider, Telem Group is the incumbent telecommunications provider on the Dutch Caribbean Island of Sint Maarten. Services provided by the Telem Group of companies include a full range of fixed, mobile and international telephony services, local and international data services.

Telem Group selected Centina’s NetOmnia solution for its fault and performance management capabilities that the company could deploy throughout its infrastructure. Centina’s robust and cost-effective solution, with a low cost of ownership, will provide Telem Group with a comprehensive, end-to-end view of network health and performance.
