• Ya hear Nicki Minaj made iTunes history? According to AllHipHop.com, a Young Money rep revealed that the femcee set a new record for female rappers on iTunes.


“The Queens bred performer’s The Pinkprint single ‘Anaconda; has helped her become the first female rapper to have a number one solo single on the iTunes chart. Add in Nicki’s featured appearance on Jessie J and Ariana Grande’s ‘Bang Bang’, and the leader of the Barbz also becomes the first female rapper to have two lead singles in the top two spots on iTunes simultaneously,” the website stated.

• Ya hear Nelly’s reality show is set to head to BET? According to The Hollywood Reporter, BET has picked up an unscripted programme starring the St Louis rapper. The unnamed series will contain eight hour-long episodes that will focus on the his career, business dealings, raising his children, and his relationship with Floyd Mayweather’s ex-girlfriend Shantel Jackson. Nelly will also serve as an executive producer.

• Ya hear an arrest warrant has been issued for Wiz Khalifa? According to AllHipHop.com, “a bench warrant has been issued for Wiz Khalifa. The ‘We Dem Boyz’ rapper missed a scheduled arraignment in Texas on Wednesday. Wiz was arrested in May at the El Paso International for allegedly possessing 0.5 grams of marijuana. He was charged with a misdemeanour and released after posting a $300 bail.”
