Equality in debts

Re: Vendors Evicted at Straw Market. – The Tribune, July 14, 2014.

BASICALLY, all Bahamians are pretty much equal, with just a few unavoidable and very minor differences.

For instance: people who are more equal may be permitted, say, 14 years or so to pay a delinquent government debt, with no unpleasant consequences.

However, folks who are not quite as equal might only be allowed slightly less time to pay up and also have to face a small penalty such as eviction.
