A 21-year-old man was taken into police custody early yesterday in connection with an armed robbery that happened earlier this month. Police made the arrest shortly after 3am at Faith Avenue.
Three men, aged 21, 22, and 30, were taken into custody after they were found by police with an unlicensed firearm. On Saturday shortly after 1am, police said Flying Squad officers searched a Mercedes Benz at Mini Street, It was occupied by three men. Once inside the vehicle, police discovered a weapon and a quantity of ammunition.
The men are expected to face charges in court early this week.
In another incident yesterday, a 27-year-old man of Pastel Gardens was arrested after Mobile Division officers discovered him with an imitation handgun. It happened shortly after midnight.
