FINANCIAL BOWLING

LEAGUE

THE top player in Financial Bowling League competition Wedneaday night was Stan Bethell of Strike Force, who toppled the pins for a 235 high game while on the way to a blistering 630 three game set. Mark Munnings and Sonith Lockhart both claimed the runner-up MVP awards after tying the second high set with 596. Lockhart also had a 223 second high game.

The ladies were led by Xynea Johnson of Fidelity Bulldogs with a 188 high game and a respectable 505 three game set. Johnson was followed by Monique Miller of Strike Force, who dropped the pins for a 468 second high set. Bonnette Knowles of Deloitte & Touche dropped the pins for the second high game of 182.

Results of other scores posted were:

Strike Force 3, Sunshine Insurance 0; BTC Hawks 3, Moonlight Strikers 0; Fidelity Bulldogs 3, Rubis Oil Stars 0; Deloitte & Touche 3, Price Waterhouse Coopers 0 and Forsythe Communications 2, Leno Corporate Services 1.

MONTHLY HANDICAP

THE Bahamas Bowling Federation’s monthly handicap tournament is scheduled for 12:30pm Saturday at Mario’s Bowling and Entertainment Centre. The entry fee is $40. The tournament is being held to help raise funds for the federation in their ongoing development programme.
