EDITOR, The Tribune.
In the House of Assembly today Dr Andre Rollins, PLP MP for Fort Charlotte, gallantly spoke up for the people of the Marathon Constituency in his quest to have a select committee of the House appointed to investigate the Rubis oil spill contamination in Marathon.
Dr Rollins spoke well and defended his position against a barrage of attacks from the Government side.
What amazed me was that the official opposition, led by Dr Hubert Minnis, did not utter a word even though they had an opportunity to do so. When an opportunity came to speak, he sat still in his chair and did not come to the defence of the good people of Marathon nor condemn the PLP Government for a massive cover up and their dereliction of duty.
Having called for the resignations of Ministers and the MP for Marathon outside of Parliament Dr Minnis did not bother to show the concern that Fred Smith, Heather Hunt, Kwasi Thompson and FNM Chair Michael Pintard expressed over the last several days.
When the Speaker said “as many” I was watching in anticipation of my leader getting up and putting holy hell on the PLP for what they allowed to happen in Marathon. Instead, there was absolute silence.
I am very disappointed in the Leader of the Opposition, Dr Hubert Minnis.

You only THINK your disappointed in him now - wait until he becomes PM. He will be the next PM, because Bahamians are ignorant slave robots who only know how to mark an X next to FNM or PLP - and they are upset with PLP, so they will vote for the same people they just voted out last time.
Minnis comin soon to teach you the real meaning of the word : disappointment.

Doctor Rollins may as well enjoy his last dance. No party will embrace him. He is like a bear with a sore back side.
