Generational unemployment

EDITOR, The Tribune.

Why can’t even the most seasoned PLP MPs and even Ministers, understand that their younger MPs feel that they were being used, and now in the 2017 election fear that they will not have a chance to be elected.

A good manager always keeps his line of communication open to his junior managers and line staff. If he doesn’t you know the rest of the story.

It is clear that the Prime Minister does not follow this all-important concept, because if he did, the natives would not be drumming their drums and making harsh critical statements.

If a Prime Minister, now past 70 years does not plan for his succession...he fails!

Is there a direct successor to the PLP?

Simply...No!

If the Prime Minister does not pull out of the hat projects to create at least 20,000 new jobs, excluding Baha Mar, whose jobs are probably included in the past statistics numbers, then by 2016-17 we will see 40,000 + unemployed getting close to generational unemployed.

Those junior MPs do not have the guts to vote NO to Bills brought up for a vote in the House - so they get what they deserve.

They have the power and authority to vote in the House of Assembly and they will not use it, so they shouldn't complain about people who have even more power than them and won't use it.
