POLICE have arrested three men and a woman for possession of a large quantity of marijuana, saying they have "dealt a major blow to the drug traffickers in the Bahamas".
Shortly before 11pm on Wednesday, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit assisted by officers from the Police Marine Support Unit executed a search warrant at a home off Carmichael Road, where they found over 30 bales of marijuana and a quantity of cocaine.
The four suspects were taken into custody for questioning. Police said the seizure was the result of "a combination of teamwork and excellent textbook Police work".
