FIREARMS and ammunition were discovered in the Lewis Yard area on Monday, but no arrest has been made, police reported yesterday.
The discovery was made around 9.45am in bushes, where DEU officers found a brown bag containing a .9mm Beretta and magazine, and a .9mm Browning handgun with two .380 hollow tip rounds, and 28 .9mm ammunition.
Inspector Terecita Pinder said that there was no arrest in the matter and investigations are continuing.
