FOR two sales associates at Nicole’s Hair World & Beauty Supplies, training has paid off. Both walked away with cash prizes after winning Milo Butler’s Smooth ‘N Shine partner competition. As the exclusive local distributors of the hair care line, Milo Butler invited eight beauty supply retailers to train staff on the proper use of the beauty products. They called on Paulette Watkins, haircare specialist and owner of Pivot Point Unisex Salon, to conduct the training.

A total of 16 associates participated in two sessions held at Milo Butler’s head office on Peach Street. At the end of the training, sales persons were challenged to take their knowledge back into the stores to education customers and ramp up product sales. Associates selling the most products in stores within a one-month period were guaranteed a cash prize from Milo Butler. When the scores were in, two members of Nicole’s Hair World walked away with the top prizes.
