SECURITY officer Glen Woodside, 51, has been identified as the driver who was killed in a traffic accident on Wednesday in Freeport, Grand Bahama.
Mr Woodside, a resident of Kwan Yin apartments on South Mall Drive, was employed at the Grand Bahama Lucayan Resort. He lived less than a mile away from where the accident happened.
A two-car collision occurred around midnight on Wednesday at East Sunrise Highway and East Atlantic Drive, involving a Nissan Maxima and a Hyundai Accent, which Mr Woodside was driving west on East Sunrise Highway.
A 22-year-old woman of Freeport Gardens was the driver of the Nissan Maxima, which was travelling south on East Atlantic Drive.
Police are continuing their investigations into the accident.
