Successive governments from time immemorial have difficulty in completing what they promise and approved in any single year Budget so you really think it is feasible to try to write a 30-year to include every island’s national development plan?
Only communist countries have 10-20-30 National Development Plans. Somewhere recently, I read that the people’s Republic of China operates off a five-year national plan so you really think the government’s concept makes any sense?
Take three or four islands, the closest to New Providence and quickly prepare those islands with an individual Development Plan - think small - think practical and think sensible unless you really are joking the people as governments love to.
Andros a certain choice.....northern and central islands of the Exuma chain... north-south Eleuthera... that’s enough I think we might be able to handle them and the significant impact if successful would be enormous.
Think small but cause big effects not the other way government - think so big impossible to conclude even a segment of the Plan. I prefer success not failures which we have become so accustomed to.
