THE New Providence Volleyball Association continued its regular season with two match-ups between the top teams at the DW Davis Gymnasium on Sunday.
In the ladies’ division, the defending champions Scottsdale Vixens needed four sets to dispose of the Johnson’s Lady Truckers 27-25, 17-25, 25-22 and 25-14.
And in the men’s feature contest, the Defenders also won in four sets, 25-14, 25-22, 21-25 and 25-20 over the Technicians.
The league is scheduled to continue with a ladies’ double header on Wednesday. In the opener at 7:30pm, the College of the Bahamas Lady Caribs play the Lady Panthers and Lady Truckers take on the Lady Techs in the feature contest.
