How many more “teachable moments” will it take before the Christie administration realises they are out of their depth? With the Southern Bahamas still struggling with the aftermath of this hurricane, another “teachable moment” looms in the not too distant future – NHI.
NHI in its present form will have devastating affects on our country from the North to the South.
Our economy, already struggling with crime, Baha Mar and now Joaquin to name a few, will inevitably buckle and collapse under the pressure.
Do they not read the papers or watch the international news?
National Health programmes are struggling around the world, most industrialised nations cannot afford them, so how will we?
Why not learn from others’ teachable moments and avoid them!

The PHA is hemorrhaging money as it has no management. Various Civil Servants have health benefits paid for by government.
Instead of fixing the problem it is much easier to take more money from the public and pour it into the leaking PHA.
The damage to the Country won't be clearly visible for a few years by which time most of them will be out of power (they are all old now anyway).
They don't care about our children or grandchildren who will have to suffer the consequences.

The sooner that we hit bottom, the sooner we will be able to get rid of the criminal buffoons and start to rebuild on a solid framework.
