EDITOR, The Tribune.
When the social history of The Bahamas is written in the future, if the author is sincere it should read as follows;
The Bahamas (circa 2015): A commonwealth of islands with a population of approximately 370,000 people had deteriorated to a society of kleptocrats, under a kleptocracy, characterised by civil disobedience and urban warfare.
That would be quite accurate, do you think?

Unless we change our ways VERY soon, that may be exactly what is written. I think that we still have a chance to change our ways so that the last few years can be... overlooked.

My question is , Why do PLP's seem to think that they are entitled to reap and pillage the public treasury. Any Bahamian that steals from or cheats the public treasury is stealing not only from themselves, but each and every Bahamian. So when a plp gets a contract and does shoddy work or just does not do the job, or even subcontracts out that job because they have no clue, you are stealing from yourself and your children. Do you minions understand this, do the politicians get that they are hurting themselves and the entire nation? Somehow I do not think the PLP cares in the least as long as they are getting theirs, no matter what!

The post 1964 politicians all have blood on their hands .............. once self-government was set up, the politicians raced to see who could rape and pillage the Treasury the most........ its just gotten worst as the national debt has increased and the media has become more investigative
