POLICE are looking for the suspects behind two armed robberies that occurred on Tuesday.

In the first incident, shortly after 2pm, a man was getting out of his vehicle outside a local bank on JFK Drive when three gunmen in a white Honda Stream vehicle, license number 221042, approached and robbed him of his knapsack containing personal items before speeding off.

Later that evening, shortly before 7pm a woman was standing in front of her residence, located at Mount Tabor Estates off Charles Saunders Highway, when a man armed with a handgun approached and robbed her of her purse before fleeing on foot.

Investigations continue.
