Speed bumps are needed

EDITOR, The Tribune

THE horrific and tragic car accident on Coral Harbour Drive on September 16 had the air of inevitability to it.

Two young Defence force men involved, one dead and one in critical care.

Any resident of Coral Harbour can testify that the Defence Force officers use Coral Harbour Drive as a private race track. Early morning, and particularly late afternoon, it resembles the Indy 500 race as officers overtake each other at 70 to 90 miles per hour.

A simple, common sense solution to prevent future deaths would be to build speed bumps on Coral Harbour Drive.

I’m not expecting this though!
