PRINCIPAL Jasmine Hepburn, Tamica Saunders, Paula Denman, LaChea Sears-Rolle and Rayneice Adderley, along with the faculty and staff of Roker’s Point Primary School, celebrated pre-school week under the theme “It’s A Bahamian Thing”. Children are being taught the history of the Bahamas and the importance of preserving the rich legacy left by their forefathers.
Principal Hepburn said that young children must be celebrated, as they are very important for society and the communities.
The pre-schoolers began their week by attending a church service at Ebenezer Union Baptist Church with Rev Stephen Smith. The week continued with cultural and fun activities for the pre-schoolers.
Principal Hepburn urged all parents and guardians to always do their best to ensure the safety, protection and educational advancement of our future leaders.
