WHITNEY Isaacs will be crowned Miss Centreville this Friday during an event at the Quakoo Street Community Centre.
The reception is scheduled for 3pm and will be held as Ms Isaacs continues her platform throughout the Centreville constituency, which is "Building confidence by having beauty with a purpose."
Ms Isaacs, 17, is a graduate of St Anne's High School. She plans to further her education by attending The University of The Bahamas, studying bio-chemistry. She aspires to be a sports physician.
Ms Isaacs also plans on launching her own organisation one day called Total Confidence.
"Her mission is transforming, developing and grooming one queen at a time," a press release noted. "The overall goal of this organisation is to teach young ladies to be their best selves and accept themselves for who they are and not what others want them to become."
