REV Stephen Smith and the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Exuma opened its doors last Sunday morning to welcome employers, employees and other business people from the Farmer’s Hill community to a special service.
The service was aimed at refreshing businesses as they begin a new year and embrace new opportunities.
Central to the service was Psalms 32:8, which says: “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”
Rev Smith, a licenced pilot with Shoreline Air Services, was dressed for the occasion in his captain’s uniform. He encouraged business owners to always remain focused on God and to allow Him to direct their path. He said that there will be times when you may experience drought, but that is a time to rely totally on God and His word to give the salary increase and promotion.
