Four accused in gun case

FOUR people including a juvenile were arraigned in the Freeport Magistrates Court yesterday on charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm.

Shannon Johnson, 26, of Limewood Lane, Freeport, was charged with attempted murder, two counts of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and causing grievous harm.

Antonio Morley, 21, of Limewood Lane, Freeport and Claude Vissaint, 25, of Tasman Circle, and a 17-year-old were each charged with two counts of possession of firearm with intent to endanger life, causing grievous harm and causing harm.

The men were not required to plea to the charges and were remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services in Nassau until February 27, 2018 for trial.
