Bishop Ros Davis is celebrating his sapphire jubilee. After 45 years as senior pastor of the Golden Gates World Outreach Ministries, his church family is honouring him with special activities.

Next Tuesday, Bishop Davis will pay a courtesy visit to Government House. This will begin at 11am. There will be a brief reception held for long-serving church members following the visit.

On Friday, December 1, the church is hosting the Sapphire Gala Ball at the Meliá Nassau Beach Resort in the Independence Ballroom beginning at 7pm. The focus of this ball is to honour of the long-serving members of the church.

Then, on Sunday, December 3, anniversary celebrations for Bishop Ros and Pastor Althea Davis will officially kick off. There will be two services held at the church, at 7.30am and the official service of praise and thanksgiving at 3pm.
