A 20-year-old man was charged with attempting to murder another individual in the Hospital Lane area last week.
Javar Ferguson, of King Street, stood before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt facing one count of attempted murder in connection with the November 20 incident.
It is alleged that on the day in question, Ferguson attempted to murder Latrell Johnson.
He was not required to enter a plea to the charge and the case was adjourned to January 26 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment.
He was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until that time.
