Westminster Parliament

EDITOR, The Tribune.

WESTMINISTER Rules and protocols are good for all, not when appropriate to be applied.

An MP, sorry a Cabinet Minister, as in Prime Minister misinforming The House… you resign. The Oban Energy issue.

An MP making a statement which clearly is opposite to Cabinet’s position in public - Minister resigns. The Hon Jeff Lloyd comment on Oban.

Is party politics covered by the Constitution? Not until you have had an election and you are choosing the Prime Minister who is chosen least we forget by all MPs elected and the Leader of the Opposition.

Do we breach the law when only party symbols are used and not as I understand the law…each candidate has their own symbol on the ballot?

I think over the years we have seriously deviated from the law and regulations and it is laughable how we abuse the Rules and Protocols of Westminster.

Watch the UK Commons… their Speaker does not have the control and insists on the reason you wish to speak unlike ours!

Stop quoting and not using unilaterally, Mr Prime Minister.

If you hold the Westminister Rules so sacred then please abide by them.

Rev McAlpine MP is 1000% correct!

The British Foreign Minister just resigned because he disagreed with his Government on BREXIT .............. This is how the system should work if the PM, Ministers, Senators and MPs are "Honourable" men and women.
