The Daughters of Destiny Network will prove they are "Unstoppable" this Saturday when they present their second annual empowerment breakfast to encourage all Bahamian women to "let go and let God".

In an interview with Tribune Religion organisers said the non-denominational Daughters of Destiny Network encompasses women from all walks of life. Its mission is to empower women in pursuing their purpose and fulfilling their God-ordained destinies.

The "Unstoppable" social gathering will take place this Saturday at the True Vine Prayer and Deliverance Ministries International, Plaza Del Sol, Prince Charles Drive, starting at 8am. Featured speakers are Ministers Clara Storr, Katherine Hamilton, Jocelyn Stubbs and Carla Hall. The morning's moderator will be Minister Louise Newry.

"This event's purpose is to encourage women who have struggled with getting beyond their past failures, setbacks and unpleasant situations and circumstances. We believe due to these experiences they have been held hostage by others because of what they have done. We believe it is not where you start or where you have been, but it is how you end. It is how you overcame the obstacles that have been placed in your way," said Minister Deneace Lloyd, Daughters of Destiny Network founder and event host.

She said this Saturday's speakers will share their testimonies of the unstoppable power of God in their lives against the plans and schemes of the enemy. Highlights will also include a performance by the praise and dance worship ministry.

The empowerment breakfast will tackle issues such as "singleness" and marital problems, overcoming physical challenges and depression.

As a victim of what she calls "past judgement" herself, Minister Lloyd said her story will be a relatable one for those women who attend the breakfast. She remembers not being allowed to fulfil God's purpose for her life all those around her refused to release her from her past. It was this experience that initially inspired her to launch the Daughters of Destiny Network to offer hope and restoration to struggling women.

The organisation is now known for its annual events such as the women's conference during the month of November and an empowerment breakfast every July. Minister Lloyd also offers her services to those seeking counselling.

"It is a pleasure to host the empowerment breakfast, as women from every denomination take part in this life-changing event. I am inspired by the way the Spirit of the Lord moved in the event last year, as women were blessed and empowered. Hence, we are here again this year expecting an even greater time in the Lord. We want women to know that whatever they encounter, they must hold faith in God to know that as long as He is with them, they will be not only be unstoppable, they will also be unshakeable and unmovable," she said.
