Missing projects

EDITOR, The Tribune.

IS the perception or disillusionment of corruption a reality against foreign investment? Truth experienced since May 10th, 2017, it seems to be the opposite as under the supposed to be lily-white-uncorrupt FNM not a single investment project has been announced except for the odorous Oban energy refinery deal.

Knee-jerk reaction a year after being elected is simply the correct description of the announcement, I suggest at an inappropriate time, in front of foreign diplomats but surely any idiot should know you have to have a tracking system for projects.

So are we to believe on May 10th, 2017, the incoming government found absolutely no pending project proposals?

What happened to the Carnival Cruise Port for Grand Bahama? Did the FNM kill that for the highly speculative and environmentally unsafe and unfinanced Oban project? The People wish to know, Mr Prime Minister. This Port would benefit ‘000’s not the 600 at Oban and no pollution and ugliness on pristine beach.

Rumours abound that after the budget, May 16th, there will be a Cabinet shuffle - Prime Minister shuffling is a total waste of time - if the Minister did not perform in one capacity why do you think he will perform in an alternative one? Sir, fire the unperforming Ministers you have a broad back bench. Fire them!

Prime Minister can you give a serious directive to your Ministers and Permanent Secretaries they are required by General Orders to reply to correspondence…and not months later within a reasonable time, or as usual, never!
