On Saturday, November 17, the Anglican Church Men branch of St George Anglican Church hosted its annual Man and Boys Conference under the theme “Calling Men and Boys to be Intentional Disciples”.
Speakers Included Ricardo Deveaux, president of Bahamas Primary Student of the Year Awards and first assistant secretary in Ministry of Labour, and Rob Robertson, president of BTVI.
Last Sunday, the branch also celebrated it’s 52nd anniversary with the jacketing and pinning of it’s newest member, Alexis Roberts. During that service, Kurth Wallace received the Herbert Scott Man of Honour award. Father Scott Brennen, priest-in-charge, presided over proceedings during the church’s intentional discipleship session which culminated with the Men and Boys Conference.
