THE Catholic Diocesan Primary Schools completed its basketball championship games yesterday at Loyola Hall on Gladstone Road with the St Thomas More Sparks carting off both the boys’ and girls’ titles as they won over the St Francis/Joseph Shockers.
The four-time champions Sparks won their fourth boys’ title as they completed a perfect season.
Davon Davis was named the most valuable player. He is the son of former national team guard Varel Davis, the president of the Government Secondary Schools Sports Association.
The Sparks won the girls’ title for the second time. The MVP in their series was J’Kaiyah Rolle.
St Thomas More was coached by Como Ferguson.
