Calvary finishes the year strong with sixth pastoral anniversary

THE leadership, members and partners of Calvary Deliverance Church East Street South have come to a very special time of the year. This Sunday, they will celebrate and extend their love and thanks to Senior Pastor Bishop James Newry and Elder Queenie Newry on the occasion their sixth pastoral anniversary.

“Bishop Newry is an arduous visionary leader who is committed to service and the work of the Lord.

“The Bible says in I Timothy 5:17, ‘Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine’,” said church members.

The services will be held under the theme, “The Year of New Beginnings, Revelation, Declaration and Manifestation; the Year to Live and Not Die.”

The special celebrations will be held on Sunday at 8am and 10.30am. The guest speaker will be Bishop Cardinal McIntosh of Grand Bahama. These services will feature the church’s Praise Team and CDC Fine Arts Ministry.

Then, December 4-6, Bishop James and Elder Queenie will be hosting the ‘Finish Strong’ conference, with guest speaker Prophetess Quinty Sears of Grand Bahama.

“God has birthed in our senior pastor’s spirit the need to host a ‘finish strong’ conference, for it is God’s will that we complete any divine assignment that we undertake. Many people start the race intending to pursue God’s plan for their lives, but they lack the perseverance needed to finish the course,” said church members.
