Congratulations are in order for inspirational singer Ricardo Clarke, whose hit song "Least Expect" has broken into the international market by making it's debut on Carib TV.

Ricardo told Tribune Religion that the single addressed with the surprise reaction people have when others demonstrate an attitude that completely contradicts the impression they originally gave.

"Obviously it becomes something we didn't anticipate, something that we least expected. It's life, and the title is a reflection of that. This life journey is full of surprises, especially with people. Think about it, the person who should be most happy can be the person who easily becomes unhappy and sometimes jealous of you. I've found that if a friend does not celebrate your success, they are not your friend, but an enemy waiting to be exposed. There are so many unfortunate cases of that behaviour and definitely it is something that you least expected and couldn't fathom," the singer said.

Thanks to Carib TV - an international media house whose reach covers 22 Caribbean territories, as well as certain markets in the US like New York, Ontario and Quebec in Canada, and even the UK - "Least Expect" is making moves around the world.

"The video for the song, directed by Gregory Rolle of GD Media, saw it's launch on August 1. The song has received over 30,000 views through social media also. On the heels of this amazing accomplishment I am preparing for the release of my latest album called 'Stronger' in a few weeks, which also marks the 10th anniversary of my mega hit 'Not Settling'. Additionally, it will be used to highlight and generate support and interest for my mentorship programme called Occupy and other charitable efforts," he said.

Ricardo has loved music and performing since his childhood. And his musical abilities come as no surprise, considering his mother was a fixture on the local concert circuit and his father made his mark as a singer on inspirational radio with songs like "Footsteps on the Sea",

"Don't Count Me Out," "Not Settling," "Wasting No Time," and "On My Feet."

Ricardo has been following in his parents' footsteps and his now ready to take his career to the next level, and he hopes the song "Least Expect" will help facilitate that dream
