By MINISTER KEITH EVANS
"Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? There is no searching of His understanding. He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." - Isaiah 40:28-31
There are some of you holding on by the skin of your teeth for a breakthrough from the Lord. Things are extremely tough and you seem to have exhausted all avenues of deliverance. The higher the altitude, the stronger the turbulence! For every new level there is a new devil to restrict your progress. I come to encourage you, the faint-hearted and downtrodden, to hold on to the hands of Jesus.
Things are extremely difficult and tough. You've been fasting, seeking, praying and waiting for a miracle that just won't manifest. Isaiah the prophet, in his prophetic discourse, admonishes the remnant to wait on God. To wait on God means to wait while serving Him. We have to be submissive and not cantankerous and ornery when it comes to serving the Lord during our trying times. Life sometimes pitches a curve ball in our direction. Stay strong and show some moxie and fortitude while waiting on God. On the one hand He's punishing the wicked, and on the other He's purifying the righteous, You may be going through a defining moment in your life, a watershed moment that will revolutionise your life forever, Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
