Shiloh Abundant Life bets on the power of prayer

The Shiloh Abundant Life Ministries is hosting its second annual prophetic prayer conference this month and wants to remind all Bahamians that “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous availeth much.”

With strong emphasis on lifting up the family, industry, government, and social structures nationally and globally Shiloh Abundant Life Ministries (SALM) believes that their first mandate is to prayer, as Luke 18:1 says that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

“We believe that a stronger commitment to prayer will impact everything around us,” said the SALM family, led by Senior Pastor Kendyce and Sonja Moss-Moultrie

Under the theme “Assume Command, Going Deeper and Higher Towards the Promise”, taken from Joshua 1:9, SALM’s conference will take place March 18-20 at the church, located on Ferguson Way and Marathon Road, above Signature Styles. Sessions will be held nightly at 7pm, with a special midday session on Tuesday, March 19, at 12.30pm.

Speakers will include: Apostle Gail McKinney of Trinity Assembly; Pastor Shakera Sears of Whole Armour Ministries; Apostle Delano Rolle of New Direction Worship Centre, and Minister Patricia Johnson-Pratt of Global Prayer Network (Nightly Prayer Clinic).

Music will be provided by psalmists and Ministers Latasha Taylor and Keith Jones, along with Sister Adrianna Munnings.

SALM leadership said they are anticipating signs and wonders to follow the prophetic Word.

“God’s power will be evident in each speaker through their exposition and anointed delivery,” they said.

“As we take a look around and observe our communities we all can agree that stronger emphasis must be placed on the power and necessity of prayer with a sense of urgency.”
