Is the refusal of the Minnis government to debate the Interim Budget a slap in our faces whilst they talk the economy is on the upswing?

PM rushes off to Andros - Eleuthera and I suspect more islands to speak about the Interim Budget but in the People’s House the sovereign seat of Parliament he refuses to say a word. Probably hard to explain a whopping loss of VAT revenue when saying the economy is improving.

If the Prime Minister can speak to the Family Islands on an obvious FNM political campaign surely respect to the House of Assembly at the least the Leader of the Opposition or the spokesperson on Finance must be able to respond to a communication…surely the Speaker is not going to deny that right?

Oops transparency gone - so much questionable issues of breach of long established practice such as how RFP’s are managed…interference with the police the list is long.
