Stampers knock off the Breezes High Flyers 91-87

THE Triple K Stampers knocked off the defending division II champions Breezes High Flyers 91-87 to highlight Saturday’s NPBA action at the AF Adderley Gymnasium.

And in a pair of division one games, the Fort Charlotte Defenders clipped the BIBT Great Whites 93-85, while the Discount Distributors Rockets pounded the Leno Regulators 91-79.

On Friday, the defending men’s division one champions Commonwealth Bank Giants stomped the Breezes High Flyers 97-69.

Stampers 91,

High Flyers 87

Johnley Noel pumped in a game high 33 points with 17 rebounds to lead Triple K to their victory.Four other players were in double figures.

Mark Sawyer had 13 points and two rebounds, Mark Campbell had 10 points and 10 rebounds, Marques Cooper had 10 points and nine rebounds, Teashon Gibson had 10 points with six rebounds and Wilben Seraphin added nine points with 10 rebounds and five assists.

Fro Breezes, Troy Trempley led the attack with 16 points, 10 rebounds, five block shots and four assists, Terrell Brigewater had 13 points and four assists, Shaquille Outten had 11 points, four rebounds and three assists, Herbert Knowles had 10 points and five rebounds, Brandon Stubbs had nine points, seven rebounds and five assists and both Dion Brown and Jason McHardy had eight points each.

Defenders 95,

Great Whites 85

Gregory Seymour pumped in 25 points with 15 rebounds, three assists and two steals to lead Fort Charlotte to victory.

Rufus Dean helped out with 18 points and 14 rebounds, Corrington Dean had 15 points, five assists and four rebounds, Paul Carridice had 10 points and eight rebounds and Chakeil Brown added 10 points with six rebounds, four assists and three steals. In a losing effort for BIBT, Nathan Sullivan canned a game high 36 points with eight rebounds and three assists, Trevez Hamilton had 21 points and five rebounds and Jerard Ferguson added 11 points and six rebounds.

Rockets 91,

Regulators 79

Randy Williams scored 17 points with six rebounds and four steals to lead the Discount Distributors to victory.

Cordero Pinder had 12 points and nine rebounds, Dominique Beadle had 12 points and three rebounds, Able Joseph had 11 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, Livingstone Munnings had 11 points and 10 rebounds and Georgio Walkes added 10 points, three rebounds and two assists.

For Leno, Kenneth Pratt had a game high 22 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Alexander Rolle had 18 points, seven rebounds and three steals, Hakeem Walkes had nine points and both Alex Joseph and Carlos Thompson Sr added seven points each.

Giants 97,

High Flyers 69

Adam Johnson erupted for a game high 22 points with 12 rebounds, four block shots and four assists to lead Commonwealth Bank to victory.

Jackson Jacob had 14 points, D’Shon Taylor had 12 points, nine rebounds and three assists, Michael Bain Jr had 11 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals, Eugene Bain had 10 points, Renardo Baillou had eight points and six rebounds and Jeffrey Henfield added eight points, five rebounds, three steals and two assists.

In a losing effort, Jeremy Neely had 12 points, four assists and three steals, Enrico Bethel had 11 points, Dwight Moss Jr had eight points and five rebounds, James Rolle had eight points and four rebounds, Dave Davis had seven points and 11 rebounds, Devontae Gibson had seven points, five rebounds and two steals and Dario Saunders had seven points and three rebounds.
