NASSAU Street will be closed to undergo road works starting today.
The scheduled milling and paving will take place from 6pm to 2am today and tomorrow and will resume on Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 7.30pm. The work will take place on the roadway between Poinciana Drive and West Bay Street, which will be closed during the repair.
All northbound traffic will be diverted onto Pitt Road and then onto Boyd Road then Chippingham Road, which will allow motorists to connect to West Bay Street. Southbound traffic will be detoured to West Bay Street to Market Street and then on to Poinciana Drive.
All connecting roads along Nassau Street will be closed. Provisions for access will only be made for area residents where necessary.
