TWO San Salvador men appeared before Magistrate Sandradee Gardiner after they were accused of having sex with teenagers in two separate incidents.

Terreance Storr, 21, was charged with two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse after he was accused of having sex with a 14-year-old sometime between December 1, 2018 and December 31, 2019. He was further accused of engaging in sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old on May 29.

Carlson Newton, 25, was also charged with unlawful sexual intercourse after the prosecution alleged he had sex with a 15-year-old girl sometime between December 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019.

Yesterday, neither man was required to enter a plea and their cases were adjourned to August 4 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment.

Both defendants were denied bail and remanded to prison until trial. They have the right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.

Another man, Romeko Williams, 23, also appeared before Magistrate McKinney charged with one count of rape, after the prosecution alleged that he had had sex on June 23 with a 21-year-old woman without her consent.

Williams was not required to enter a plea and the case was adjourned to September 4 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment.

Bail was denied and he was remanded to BDCS in the interim. The defendant, who is represented by attorney Alex Morley, has a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
