REGULATIONS on where Bahamians can exercise have been amended for the current lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis signed an amendment to the emergency powers regulations.
Under the new rules, people will still be able to exercise between 5am and 9pm – however, they will not be able to drive to a location to do so.
The regulations now state that exercise is permitted “provided that the exercise is conducted in one’s yard or one’s immediate neighbourhood and no person shall drive to any place to exercise”.
Meanwhile, Lynden Pindling International Airport confirmed that it is closed to all incoming commercial passengers. The airport remained open to outbound commercial passenger flights on Friday, although flight schedules are limited and changing frequently, so travellers are advised to contact their airlines for the latest updates.

The rich who live on the beach do not want the natives to walk on the beach. All we ever did was walk or run on the beach.
We do not have pools. but doc made sure that those who have pools their pools will be kept clean. But the Natives can not walk on the shores or go in the sea water.

Your elitist PLP friends took all of our beaches away from us and gave them to foreign investors......and Minnis has been following in their foot steps, giving the greedy cruise ship companies whatever they ask for with the vast majority of Bahamians and our country getting absolutely nothing in return.

I 'll to be keep in touch in possiblities of removing lockdown Me and behalf of my colleagues we are here in your Port of Nassau still hoping for helping the crew atleast give some essentials effort fo have enough opportunity to comeback in our country land, I hope this messages clearly begging this almost a month staying and for that we do not have any cases of covid19, since we reach here.
